“Better than mechanical practice is knowledge; better than knowledge is meditation. Better than meditation is the renunciation of the fruits of actions, for peace immediately follows such renunciation.”
(Gita, Chapter 12, Verse 12)

‘Sahasrara’ means thousand-petalled
In my painting, A Thousand Petals, I explore the interplay between journey and essence. The petals symbolize the paths we travel, while the light represents our soul—an eternal presence that exists both with and without the petals. This dynamic reflects a profound truth: while our journeys may be adorned with beauty and complexity, the essence of who we are—the light—remains constant.
The illumination of the light through the petals signifies the indomitable spirit inherent throughout our journeys. It is this resilience that allows our true selves to shine through, even amidst life’s challenges. Each petal serves as a reminder of the struggles and triumphs we encounter, collectively contributing to the brilliance of our spirit.
Through this work, I invite viewers to reflect on their own journeys and recognize that, regardless of the external circumstances, our light endures. It is in the embrace of our paths that we realize the beauty of existence and the strength of our unblemished soul.

‘Pranidhana’ means Surrender
The most difficult lesson I have learned in life is the importance of perseverance, regardless of the outcome. My latest painting embodies the concept of surrender—an expression of faith and acceptance in the face of uncertainty.``
While exploring the philosophy of ‘karmaphaltyaga,’ I was captivated by the idea of relinquishing attachment to results. This fascination inspired me to create while spending time on the beaches of Gold Coast, where I sketched my feet cradled by a protective hand. This image resonated deeply with me, reflecting the comfort I found in moments of despair—the sense that I was always shielded, even in my struggles.
Through this artwork, I came to realize that what truly matters are the actions we take, rather than the outcomes we hope for. The process of creating this piece was transformative; I learned to embrace the journey of artistic expression, allowing myself to grow alongside it.
I hope this work inspires viewers to reflect on their own experiences of surrender and the liberation that comes from focusing on the process rather than the result.
Title: ‘Swetcha’
Oil on Canvas
Size of Canvas : 20″ x 28″
‘Swetcha’ means Freedom
As I’ve journeyed through the different stages of life, my understanding of freedom has transformed in ways I never expected. Yet, at the heart of it all, I’ve found that true liberation comes from letting go of the weight of outcomes and embracing the responsibility for my actions.
This painting is a reflection of that journey for me—a visual expression of what it means to truly let go and live authentically. It captures the moments when I learned to conquer my fears and expectations, allowing me to experience a deeper sense of peace and freedom.
I hope that as you look at this work, you can feel that same sense of liberation. My wish is for you to connect with your own experiences of letting go and to find inspiration in the beauty of living in the moment.
